Whereas, the STKIP PGRI Nganjuk in its commitment to enhance the knowledge, skill, attitudes, and values of faculty and make them globally competitive, has entered this understanding to provide collaboration with the second party.
Whereas, the Wales Young Institute Vancouver, Canada as a sign of its commitment to this future educational engagement, has identified/proposed the possible areas of cooperation namely, but not limited to:
1. Joint research
2. Joint international conferences
3. Joint publications in terms of journal articles and textbooks
4. Developing the education field
5. Conducting community service
These programs are intended for the following purposes: (1) to strengthen the relationships between the partnering countries in educational provisions, (2) to improve the quality of education provided by the partnering universities, (3) to improve the quality of the academic staff of the faculty or universities in conducting instructional activities, research, publishing, and community extension services, (4) to enhance student achievements in educational programs as well as the individual capacity in learning doing research and related practical experiences, and (5) to improve the quality of publication of both universities in terms of journals, textbooks, and conference papers.
NOW, therefore, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the STKIP PGRI Nganjuk and the Wales Young Institute Vancouver, Canada hereby made the following understanding:
1. That the parties commit themselves to have an institutional collaboration in the following areas/fields, among others: (a) joint research program, (b) joint international conferences, (c) joint publication in terms of journal articles and textbooks, (d) developing the education field, and (e) conducting community services
2. That either Party can provide the venue for the joint research program, international conference, and community services.
3. That the terms for every collaborative activity shall be agreed upon by both Parties;
This MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING shall hold for the duration of five years after being signed between the two Parties (STKIP PGRI Nganjuk and Wales Young Institute Vancouver, Canada without prejudice to renewal after the contract expiration, provided both Parties reserved their respective rights to withdraw their participation in this Understanding upon written notice to the other Party. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties hereto have signed this document on this 20th day of January 2023 in Nganjuk Cinty, Indonesia.
